Day 7 – Sahasrara

I seriously started this challenge with the best intentions.  I thought I’d have all the time in the world to get on my computer and post a blog about that days chakra balancing, but life. Today got away from me when I met a new friend for coffee after I dropped my kiddo off at Pre-K, and then I had all my errands to make up. This all reminded me of the main focus of the crown chakra, and what needs to be done to balance it. Thanks for all that took the time to read this week, I appreciate the support. Hopefully, as time goes by, I’ll eventually get the hang of this whole blogging thing.

The Crown Chakra is our gateway that connects us both to the physical and non-physical realms of our existence, and it’s here that we find Our Divinity and become Enlightened. From this place, we realize that we are truly connected to All-There Is/Universe/God.

When we become aware that our life is but an extension of our own consciousness; that we are the dreamer, dreaming the dream. We start to understand that all manifestations (good and bad) are a result of our thought patterns that become subconscious beliefs – and in knowing this, we can begin to change the dream.

When your Sahasrara is in balance you will have a great intuitive knowledge, and will be very wise. You will be aware of your spiritual self and be selflessly devoted to the well-being of others because you see them as a part of you, rather than as separate.

If your crown chakra is over-active you probably will not be able to control your encounters with other realms of existence. Because of an over-activity in this chakra, you may possess a god-like-complex and consider yourself better than others in the world around you.

If under-active or a blockage is happening in your crown chakra you will probably feel like you have no purpose in life. You may think that it is all meaningless, and in this thinking, will develop a mental “disease”. You may feel unloved, or angry at God, and blame life circumstance on something that is outside of you. Coordination difficulties, clumsiness, or poor balance may result from an underactive crown chakra. Positive outlooks on life will be hard for you grasp, if you except them at all. You will probably lack spiritual exploration and have no desire to discover your inner self. You may also be excessively afraid of dying.

What’s In The Smoothie?

Actually, nothing. The best way to balance our crown chakra is through fasting. If you have to eat something, because fasting takes a lot of willpower, then only chose all natural and organic food, that has been grown out in the sun. Maybe even some food that has been dried out, like dates. Drink lots and lots of water, too.

And Which Crystals Clear The Crown?

I felt like the best ones to use, in my collection anyway, were Selenite, Phantom Quartz and Amethyst Spirit Quartz. Selenite calms, brings deep peace, and offers access to past and future lives.

Selenite brings mental clarity, clearing confusion and revealing the bigger picture behind problems. A protective stone, Selenite shields a person or space from outside influences. Selenite can evoke protection from the angelic realm and also dispels negative energy.

Clear Quartz Phantoms are excellent for balancing and aligning all the Chakras to the Crown Chakra.  Those who are interested in spiritual growth and connection with the higher realms may find Clear Quartz Phantoms particularly helpful since the White Phantoms inside work with the Crown Chakra to integrate the experiences of the higher self into the other Chakras.

Amethyst Spirit Quartz varies in shades of light lilac to deep indigo and activates the Crown chakras, bringing in spiritual information and providing multi-dimensional healing. It is very cleansing, can dispel negative attachments and entities, and repair holes to the etheric body. It assists when a soul is facing death and provides immense support throughout a terminal illness, and can be an effective tool for spirit release, attracting guides for the journey. The Amethyst color brings passion and imagination, emotion and logic. It stimulates creativity and is particularly helpful in artistic endeavors.

Is That All?

Just meditate, meditate, meditate. I suggest if you’re fasting this day, to grab some crystals and get into your meditation station. Stay a little longer than usual. You deserve it!

Thanks to all of you who have stopped by to read, and everyone who joined in on the challenge. Please, let me know your thoughts.
